IEIR 2026 Camera-ready

Key Information

Use PDF eXpress to validate the final PDF, then submit that same PDF through CMT.

IEEE PDF eXpress and IEIR 2026 submission

All accepted papers must pass IEEE PDF eXpress validation before the final camera-ready manuscript is submitted.

IEEE PDF eXpress is used for PDF validation only.
After the PDF passes validation, authors must submit the same validated PDF through the IEIR 2026 CMT system.

Recommended Workflow

Follow this complete process from the accepted manuscript to final submission.

  1. Revise the accepted paper
  2. Restore blind-review information
  3. Check the IEIR 2026 template and formatting
  4. Generate the final PDF
  5. Validate the PDF through IEEE PDF eXpress
  6. Submit the validated PDF to CMT
  7. Complete the required IEEE eCF and final submission checks

Camera-ready Submission Steps

Revise the Accepted Paper

Address the reviewers' comments and complete all approved corrections. Confirm that the paper's technical content, title, abstract, figures, tables, citations, and references are final before preparing the publication version.

Use the IEIR 2026 Camera-ready Checklist to verify the final formatting and record how the reviewers' comments have been addressed.

Prepare the Final Manuscript

Use the official IEIR 2026 template and restore all information removed for double-blind review.

  • Restore author names, affiliations, and email addresses
  • Restore self-citations, acknowledgements, and identifiers hidden for review
  • Use the official IEIR 2026 Word or LaTeX template
  • Full paper: 6–8 pages; short paper: 4–6 pages
  • Check all figures, tables, citations, and references
  • Do not add page numbers
  • Remove all template guidance and placeholder text

If the IEEE Citation Reference and the IEIR 2026 paper template differ, the IEIR 2026 paper template takes precedence.

Generate the Final PDF

Generate the camera-ready PDF from the final manuscript. Open the exported file and check every page for correct page size, fonts, equations, figures, tables, references, and page order before starting PDF eXpress validation.

Validate the PDF through IEEE PDF eXpress

IEEE PDF eXpress performs the technical compatibility check required for IEEE Xplore. Use Conference ID 71002X and complete the full validation process below.

  1. Sign in or create a PDF eXpress account
  2. Enter Conference ID 71002X
  3. Create a paper record
  4. Upload the final PDF
  5. Review the validation result
  6. If validation fails, correct the source file, regenerate the PDF, and upload it again
  7. Repeat the check until the PDF passes
  8. After validation passes, do not modify the PDF
The PDF submitted to CMT must be exactly the same version that successfully passed IEEE PDF eXpress validation.
If the paper content is changed afterward, generate a new PDF and validate it again before submission.

Submit the Validated PDF to CMT

Upload exactly the same PDF that passed IEEE PDF eXpress validation through the IEIR 2026 Camera Ready tab in CMT.

The paper title, abstract, keywords, author names, author order, and affiliations in CMT must exactly match the final Camera-ready paper.
Final Camera-ready submissions must be completed through CMT.
Submissions by email will not be accepted.

Complete IEEE eCF and Verify Metadata

Complete the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form as instructed by IEIR 2026.

Authors should not manually add IEEE copyright footer, DOI, CCC code, or other IEEE publication markings to the PDF unless explicitly instructed by the conference.

IEEE Publishing Operations will apply the required Conference Name, Year, DOI, and IEEE Copyright Clearance Code before the paper is posted to IEEE Xplore.

Before the final Camera-ready submission is considered complete, authors must:
  • Submit the validated PDF to CMT
  • Complete the required IEEE eCF
  • Verify the final paper metadata

The title, abstract, keywords, author names, affiliations, and email addresses entered in CMT must match the final paper.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is PDF eXpress the paper submission system?

No. PDF eXpress checks whether the PDF meets IEEE Xplore technical requirements. Paper decisions and the final manuscript submission remain managed through the IEIR 2026 conference submission system.

Does passing the check mean the paper is already in IEEE Xplore?

No. A passing result only confirms technical PDF compatibility. Copyright transfer, publication material review, and the IEEE final publication process must still be completed.

Can the paper be changed after it passes?

Changes are discouraged. If the content must be changed, generate a new final PDF and run the new file through PDF eXpress again.

Which PDF should I upload to CMT?

Upload exactly the same PDF that successfully passed IEEE PDF eXpress validation. If the paper is modified afterward, the new PDF must be validated again before submission.
